Catherine Price Kent

Catherine Price Kent was born in Baltimore, MD in 1916 to William Edward Price and Anna Templeman Price. She lived most of her life in the DC area, residing for a time in Bealton in Fauquier County, Virginia.  She attended Wilson College in Washington and was a retiree from Bell Atlantic Telephone Company.

 

She was an accomplished and respected genealogist and was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Genealogical Society. She and her husband were also dedicated breeders of Springer Spaniels. Catherine Price Kent died in 1999 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the age of 83 and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bealeton, Virginia.
